Description:

Currently, we have an opening at our South Florida Evaluation and Treatment Center Annex for a Nurse Supervisor.

The Nurse Supervisor will be directly responsible for the preparation and maintenance of nursing staff activities and scheduling for designated units and areas to ensure twenty four hour coverage. Job responsibilities will be carried out in direct consultation with the hospital?s Nurse Manager and Chief Nursing Officer. Staff scheduling includes the preparation of master schedules and the inclusion of daily revisions so that accurate records are always available by position; unit; shift assignment.

Requirements
The successful candidate must be a graduate of an accredited college, university or vocational school and be currently licensed in the state of Florida as a Registered Nurse. Certification in mental health nursing is preferable. A minimum of three years experience in psychiatric mental health nursing is preferred with an additional two years of supervisory experience. JCAHO knowledge and experience preferred. Must be able to pass background investigation, drug screen and medical evaluation.
